Kings Monkton School is one of the oldest co-educational independent schools in South Wales, for children from Nursery age right up to university entrance. The school has been educating children since 1870 and is now part of CfBT Education Trust. Kings Monkton is fully accredited by the Independent Schools Council (ISC). Accreditation by the ISC is dependent upon rigorous and regular inspection of the standards of teaching and learning of an individual school. It is the “gold standard” by which all independent schools should be judged. By virtue of its accreditation Kings Monkton is also a member of the Independent Schools Association (ISA).
